When eBay removes feedback
- Feedback extortion: Buyer threatened negative feedback to get money
- False information: Feedback contains provably false claims
- Hate speech/profanity: Personal attacks in the feedback
- Wrong buyer: Feedback is for a different item/seller
How to report feedback
- Go to "My eBay" → "Feedback" → "Report feedback"
- Select the appropriate reason
- Upload evidence (message screenshots)
- eBay reviews within 3-7 days
What NOT to do
- Insult or accuse the buyer
- Write an angry response under the feedback
- Offer the buyer money to change it (this is prohibited)
